Forrest J Ackerman Dies

I just heard the sad news that Forrest J Ackerman did pass away. As mentioned in my blog a few days ago, he suffered a serious heart attack and this was the expected outcome. He will be missed in the LA fan community. This was a man who owned a massive amount of classic Sfi-Fi ephemera and was always happy to let me people see and touch it. Everything I have ever read about him has been positive. In my opinion he helped create the community spirit that makes fandom so open and sharing.
