It is unreal how seriously some folks take the whole Star Wars thing. Personally, I like the new trilogy. It is obvious that Lucas did learn something from the Phantom Menace and backed off the Jar Jar Binks and Midicalorians disasters. I felt that movies 2 and 3 were very strong.

I know this isn't a popular thing to say but as much as Jar Jar annoyed me after seeing the entire trilogy he was a very important character. They need a character that was naive enough to be Palpatines unknowing puppet.
